More new features! Custom session timeout and session ready alert.

Here we go again. Someone writes in asking us to change the way something works and the boys in the back start tapping away at those keys and the next thing you know, I have to write a blog post. =)

Seriously though, we did get some requests and the guys did do some great work getting those suggestions implemented. We have two new features, the first is the ability to set your own session timeout setting. The default is the current 5 minute setting we have now. However, some users have asked to be able to increase that timeout to keep the session from automatically disconnecting during long periods of inactivity.

The second is an alert when your session is ready. If you request a session and find yourself having to wait behind other users, you can have the system alert you when your session becomes available.

Both of these features are now located under the Live Test Settings link at the top of the live test console.
