Share your test results with customers and coworkers

Once you have found a cross browser issue with your site, you often need to communicate with others. Perhaps you need to send a screenshot of a page that renders incorrectly in IE to one of the developers or post a copy of it on twitter to see if any of your peers know a good work-around for the issue. Perhaps you need to send a link of a corrected web page to a customer.

We have added the ability to share your screenshots and snapshots easily via your favorite tools - email, twitter, facebook, etc. Check out this link to see it in action - http://crossbrowsertesting.com/users/7/screenshot/z367a97731a94096bace/public. This public view of the screenshot does not require an account, so you can share it with any interested parties. The photo link masks your account details and is not guessable, so your work is still private unless you decide to share the link.

Let us know what you think!

I love it!

This is great because I can show the client how their site looks in all these browser / os combos. Adding a link to show my diligence is now standard operating procedure at techism. Thanks for the great tool.

I'm a little confused on how to share anything other than the slide-show view though...I'd love to share just the page I see with all the thumbnails out there listed in sequence.

Oh - and the link in your post is busted.

Hi Joe, Thanks! We have just

Hi Joe,
Thanks! We have just added the share link on the screenshot test results page. Look for the 'Share public link' link at the bottom of the page. Clicking on this and selecting 'favorites' is an easy way to get the url so you can cut and paste it. This share link gives access to the results page - you can view any of the individual screenshots, look at the full or the windowed view, etc. It gives you 'read access' to the results from this test.
Thanks
Ken

p.s. The link in the earlier post is now fixed - thanks.
