How does the 'Internal Web Site' local connection option work?

An ssh tunnel is created from a Java applet running on your machine which connects to CrossBrowserTesting.com. By default, a simple proxy is created on port 8080 on your machine. All our remote browsers at CrossBrowserTesting.com are directed to send their traffic to your local proxy. All URLs are resolved locally via your proxy, so URLs with your internal DNS names will work just fine. The proxy will receive ALL traffic, such that if you test http://google.com, even this request will route through your tunnel and will be handled via your proxy server.

Requirements / limitations:
Outbound ssh requests to port 22 on CrossBrowserTesting.com must be allowed via your firewall.
