Java Preferences crashes in Mac OS X 10.5.7 and 10.5.8 images

These two images won't launch Java Prefs, which is crucial for my testing. The 10.6 image is fine. I suspect updating the Apple Java distro would clear it up, but we can't do that as users since it requires a reboot.

I just tried accessing the Java preferences on the 10.5.7 and 10.5.8 instances, and was able to find a way to launch them. First, on the 10.5.8, you can launch the finder and navigate to Applications, Utilities, Java Preferences. I recorded a video of this (using our new 'record' tool) - below is the public share link:

For the 10.5.7 image, the path is Applications, Utilities, Java, Java Preferences
