Live testing against my local machine
Tue, 04/12/2011 - 09:29
I have a web application running on my local machine. I also seem to be able to ping my public IP address from your servers (I am able to VNC to your server). However when I run the test using CBT launcher (or live test), I get PAGE NOT FOUND for my application. What is the best way to debug this issue?

Hi,
I checked the logs to see the pages you were trying to access. I also could not reach these pages via the service, nor could I from my local machine. In order to use the service against pages, you need a web server delivering the pages and the web server needs to be accessible from CrossBrowserTesting.com.
We have a blog post at http://crossbrowsertesting.com/faq/can-i-test-my-development-and-test-we... which discusses this. I am going to try giving you a call to see if we can help.
Thanks
Ken
