Safari on Mac: any known issues with previous users' field values?

I was just using Safari on Mac OS to test our site. When I down-arrowed in a blank form field, I sometimes got a value, always something like the field name. I don't know if Safari was just picking up a default from the field ID or name, or was it possibly left from a previous user?

mac locked down

We lock the mac down. It is possible that when we configure it we left something behind.

Do you have an example or a site I could look at.
