IE 9

Can we please get an IE 9 beta on Windows 7 image? This is one of the most frustrating things to test without a service like CBT (since even with a robust Windows lab you have to lay waste to a box with beta software). And we can't risk being caught untested when it goes gold just because we have traditional wariness of new IEs....

Thanks!

selenium and ext-js

Hi. I'm just wondering if there is any information/documentation on how Selenium (which we believe is used in the CBT screenshot technology) interacts with ExtJS, as our website www.instantoffices.com utilises the latter.

I have taken some screenshots, and particularly in Safari the status bar says that not all page elements have loaded. However, during actual testing on personal computers in our office, there are no issues with Safari and incomplete page loads, though I realise this is not scientific.

So in short, would extJS have any effect on incomplete page loads reported in Safari?

Spider a website

I'm wondering whether it's possible to spider a website and generate screen shots of up to X pages kind of thing. When we need to test a site, ideally we'd like to enter the home page and have the tool figure out sub-pages and do shots of those as well.

Network Error Message

Whenever I try to connect to a machine, I am getting an error message that says, Network connection error.

Can someone please advise?

Thanks.

Support for more up to date browsers

Hi there!

I've just signed up to test your service for Lullabot usage! Do you have plans to update the browsers list to some of the recent releases? Such as Mac's Safari 5 and Opera 10?

Java Preferences crashes in Mac OS X 10.5.7 and 10.5.8 images

These two images won't launch Java Prefs, which is crucial for my testing. The 10.6 image is fine. I suspect updating the Apple Java distro would clear it up, but we can't do that as users since it requires a reboot.

IE6

My problem is with IE6. Isn't everybody's problem with Internet Explorer? Anyway, I have a Flash news reader embedded & uploaded, lots of properties changed, new size, new stories, new pictures. Everything working fine in FX, IE8, IE7, Safari, Chrome & Netscape. Then I remembered to go to my basement where I have an older computer with IE6. Odd behavior. Large gray rectangle, the new size, with the original sized news reader in the middle. Title changed to new one. First new story is there, but not new picture that goes with it. Rest of it is the original XML info. It's a mess.

email check feature

hello,

is it possible to add an e-mail check feature: take screenshots for a whole e-mail in gmail, hotmail, gmx, outlook, thunderbird, ... like http://litmusapp.com

thx

W3C validation testing

We have added W3C validation testing to the automated screenshot testing. You will now get w3c html and CSS validation errors and warnings when you run a screenshot test of a url. You can read more about this capability at http://crossbrowsertesting.com/blog/w3c-validation-testing.
Thanks

Feature Request: Full height screenies?

I just ran into a use-case where a problem at the bottom of the page was over-looked in my testing.

I thought it would be awesome if screen-shot tests could somehow render the entire page height - or at least substantially more. I know I can change rez to something bigger, but if you have a long site and something goes wrong in the footer, the current screen-shot system won't help.
